Snip aka SNIPPINGTHORNS grew up in Venice, Los Angeles, California. ​

By making space for both grief and joy, she aims to allow space for the full range of human experiences. In curating events and creating bodies of work, her goal is always to balance individuality and community and encourage ongoing conversations that allow for deeper connections with ourselves, with others, and with the world around us.

Snip believes that one comes to know oneself by expressing oneself. She aims to encourage others to study both themselves and others. She sees the world as a never ending mystery with so much to learn.
