I was scrolling through Pinterest and I came across a phrase I hadn't heard until tonight; Dark Cottagecore. According to the post, Dark Cottagecore is a mix between Goth and Cottagecore aesthetics, similar to a Dark Fairy or Goth Fairy. However, it differs from the Grunge Fairy in that it is more Goth than Grunge.
It made me wonder how to classify a photoshoot my boyfriend and I did in Arizona. Back then, I called it a Dark Fairy shoot. But now I'm not so sure. With how often aesthetic names change these days, I'm interested in hearing your opinion.
What aesthetic would you classify this shoot as? Dark Cottagecore, Grunge Fairy, or Dark Fairy?
